Katsuji Imata, President of SIMI, becomes a member of TISFD’s Regional Council

The Taskforce on Inequality-related Financial Disclosures (TISFD) announced the launch of four Regional Councils, established to ensure the Taskforce’s work is grounded in the distinct social, economic, and cultural contexts of different regions. These Councils, covering the Americas, Asia-Pacific, Europe & UK, and Middle East & Africa, form a core part of TISFD’s commitment to inclusivity, local relevance, and meaningful stakeholder engagement.

Each Council brings together 20–25 members, with potential to expand over time. Membership includes representatives from financial institutions, corporations, civil society groups, and labour organizations. Katsuji Imata, President of SIMI, becomes a member of TISFD’s Asia-Pacific Regional Council. SIMI is the TISFD Alliance member.
