Through the below activities, SIMI promotes social impact management throughout Japan.
GLOBAL RESOURCE CENTER
The SIMI Global Resource Center (SIMI-GRC) provides those in Japan who are interested in the issues surrounding “impact” with insights into the latest trends in social impact management, impact investing and sustainable finance through its online collection of curated and translated reports, papers, and publications. By mapping out the complex landscape of global thought leaders and practitioners and by describing their backgrounds, positions and key interests, the SIMI-GRC supports Japanese social impact leaders to engage more actively in shaping tomorrow’s global discussion.
SOCIAL IMPACT DAY
A “Social Impact Day” is held every year to inform members and the public of the latest trends in social impact measurement and management in Japan and abroad.
SEMINARS AND WORKSHOPS
SIMI holds several seminars and workshops regarding social impact measurement and management for a broad range of stakeholders.
NETWORKING
SIMI activiley collaborates with several domestic and international organizations to develop its activities and initiatives.
SOCIAL IMPACT MANAGEMENT AWARD
The Social Impact Management Award (SIMA) aims to accelerate the generation of social impact by sharing examples of excellent social impact management practiced by businesses and nonprofits.
